PLENTY OF SUNSHINE AND A BIT MILDER WITH A BRISK WIND CONTINUING….

Today has featured plenty of bright sunshine with only a few low
level clouds starting to dot the sky by the early afternoon hours.
Overall it’s been a much more pleasant day than yesterday as
temperatures are a bit milder and the wind a bit less intense.

Temperatures have made it to near average levels for today.
Readings have only made it to the mid to upper 50s early this
afternoon after starting out in the mid 30s. Dew point values have
been generally holding in the low 30s, indicating that a
relatively dry air mass is in place (as reflected by excellent
visibility again today).

Winds have been a bit less busy out of mainly a westerly direction.
The average speed for the day so far is around 14mph. Gusts have
been exceeding 20mph regularly, but this is still less than what
we were experiencing yesterday. The peak gust for the day so far
is 32mph, which occurred after 10:30am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent today with a view of 70-80 miles
throughout the day.

The maximum temperature for today is 59F degrees, which is 2
degrees above the normal high of 57F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 35F degrees, which is 4 degrees below the
normal low of 39F.
