Our Busiest Fall Education Season Yet
Schools across Massachusetts are bringing students to the summit to learn the science of weather.
Students learn to observe the weather the way our observers have since 1885.
Schools from Brookline, Wayland, Concord, and beyond have booked 37 education programs with Blue Hill Observatory this fall, our busiest season yet.
On the summit, students step into the shoes of our observers. They read instruments, identify clouds, and learn how 141+ years of careful daily measurements help us understand a changing climate.
Learning all year
This summer, our Launch Your Meteorology Career program gave high school students a behind-the-scenes look at forecasting and broadcast meteorology. Read the LYMC 2026 highlights.
