MAINLY SUNNY AND WARM TODAY WITH CONTINUED COMFORTABLE HUMIDITY….
Today has again featured plenty of sunshine with pleasantly a
dry air mass and warm temperatures. A few high clouds have been
passing over throughout the day with only some widely scattered
convective clouds showing up late this morning through this
afternoon.
Temperatures are warmer than yesterday with readings reaching
the low 80s this afternoon. This is nearly 10 degrees above
normal, but with dew points holding in the mid 50s, it’s still
rather comfortable to be outdoors.
Winds have been fairly steady through the day. A general west
flow has been averaging around 12mph for the day so far. It has
been a bit gusty at times, but nothing overwhelming at all. The
peak gust for the day so far is 26mph, which occurred around
8:45am this morning.
Visibility has been decent all day with a view of around 50
miles. There is some haziness out there due to pollen as is
the usual at this time of year.
The maximum temperature so far today is 82F degrees, which is
9 degrees above the normal high of 73F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 56F degrees, which is equal to the normal low
of 56F.
