A VERY PLEASANT DAY WITH SUNSHINE, SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES,
AND COMFORTABLE HUMIDITY LEVELS….
Today has featured a great deal of sunshine with only some
diurnal cumulus clouds popping up by late this morning and
continuing through the early to mid afternoon. Today feels
more like early May than mid June and is a nice refreshing
change from the humid conditions we recently experienced.
Temperatures are at seasonal levels with readings in the
mid 70s this afternoon, after starting in the mid 50s early
this morning. Dew point values have been generally in the
low 50s, but did slip into the upper 40s for a time during
the late morning hours. Just delightful!
There has been a nice northwest to westerly breeze adding
to the refreshing feel of the day. The average speed for the
day so far is around 10mph. We have had occasional gustiness
through the day, but generally only to around 20mph. The
peak gust for the day however occurred around 12:20am this
morning with a speed of 22mph.
Visibility has been excellent again today with the view
holding at around 70 miles throughout the day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 76F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 76F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 54F degrees, which is 4 degrees below the
normal low of 58F.
