CLOUDS THICKENING AHEAD OF APPROACHING SYSTEM AND RAIN
TEMPERATURES RISE FROM UPPER 30’S TO LOW TO MID 50’S

Clouds were increasing at several levels today and no
sunshine was getting through bright spots in the overcast.
The sun was dimly visible at sunrise as it came over the
horizon. Mount Wachusett was hidden by clouds today at
2000 feet and visibility was between 30 and 40 miles.
Rainfall is expected later today, and it is badly needed
with the monthly deficit over 2 inches. For the year it’s now
reached minus 8.97 inches!

distant ENE-ESE, line of bright sky along/above horizon NE-SE,
sunrise sun dimly visible
