ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2016
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

OVERCAST SKIES ARE SLOW TO CLEAR

No additional precip. was measured at BHO, but skies remained gray with
layers of overcast and broken stratus through 1:00PM.  Visibility increased
to 70 miles as morning fog dissipated.  Winds shifted northwest this
morning and are expected to bring drier and milder air to the region.

Today’s updated US Drought Monitor still depicts BHO to be in an area of
severe drought, but shows an increase to the extreme drought rating for
much of central Massachusetts.  The area of the state in an extreme drought
increased to 41% from last week’s 29%.
