MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH PRESSURE ON THE RISE…

Pressure began rising yesterday afternoon bringing
gusty weather to Great Blue Hill. Yesterday we had
a peak gust of 39 MPH at 1:00 P.M. from the WNW
We saw a short decrease in wind speed until today
around 11:00 A.M. when it began to pick up again.
So far today we have had a peak gust of 32 kts (37 MPH)
from the west.
Temperatures have been closer to seasonable yesterday
and today. Yesterday we had a high of 46F which is the
daily normal. So far today we have had a high of 43F,
which is 3 degrees below the normal of 46F. Overnight
we got down to 31F which is 1 degree above the daily
normal of 30F. Sky has remained party cloudy today
with a mixture of broken altocumulus and cumulus clouds.
Visibility varied today but as the humidity dropped and
the distant haze lifted we had a maximum of 70 miles
at the 1:00 P.M. observation.
