STRONG NORTHWEST WIND COOLS GREAT BLUE HILL…

Overnight the wind moved from a SSW wind to a west
wind. Around 7:00 A.M. today the wind shifted again
to a chilly wind from the WNW. After the wind shift
temperatures dropped and we observed the low minimum
of 42F around 8:00 A.M. The northwest wind has made
from more seasonable temperatures after an above
seasonable day of 57F yesterday which is 10 degrees
above the daily normal of 47F. The high so far today
has been a seasonable 46F, this is also the daily
normal.
The northwest wind has been strong frequently gusting
over 30 kts (35 MPH) today starting at 10:00 A.M.
With a peak gust so far today of 34 kts (39 MPH) just
after 1:00 P.M. Sky has remained party cloudy with a
mixture of scattered cumulus and altocumulus clouds.
With a low relative humidity dropping throughout the
day visibility increased from 50 miles to 80 miles
by 1:00 P.M.
