A SPRING STUNNER ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL…

Plentiful sunshine abounds across the region today.
With skies mainly clear, we are once again experiencing
another sun-filled day. The volume of bright weather over
the past month has certainly been one to enjoy.
Temperature have also reached the mid-60s making it feel
great out there!

To go along with the mild temperatures is the lack of
wind, thanks to the center of high pressure passing directly
overhead. Winds were calm at 7AM and have only
averaged 3 MPH since then! This has made the temperatures
feel a bit warmer than the mid-60s.

Rainfall deficit for the year is currently -4.28 inches,
leaving us with an “abnormally dry” rating on the
drought monitor map. We can certainly use the rain prior
to entering the hot summer months. Next chance of
precipitation for the area appears to be this coming Sunday.
However, forecast models appear to be having difficulty
honing in on the quantity of rainfall.

The high today so far today is 67F, this is 14 degrees above
the normal high of 53F. The low since midnight is 42F, which
is 7 degrees above the daily normal low of 35F.
