ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0446E
SUNSET: 1838E
COOL TEMPS, MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH LIGHT EASTERLY WINDS….
There was a very brief peek of sunshine at day break today before
mid and upper level clouds took over the sky. Skies remained mostly
cloudy throughout the morning with decreasing clouds by the early
afternoon. By 1pm we were finally seeing a bit of sun.
Temperatures dipped to 41F during the early morning which is
seasonable for this time of year. Due to the cool air mass and
lack of sunshine, we have remained below normal for another day,
though it’s been pleasant outside with light winds and a comfortable
dew point range. Dew points have hovered in the low to mid 30s
throughout the day.
Winds were light during the overnight and there was a period of
calm winds for about 3 hours early this morning. Since then, winds
have slowly increased, but have remained light and mostly out of
the east-northeast and northeast. The average speed for the day so
far is only around 4mph. The peak gust for the day so far is 15mph,
which occurred around 12:39pm this afternoon.
It has been another great day of visibility, with views between
70-80 miles.
The maximum temperature so far today is 55F degrees, which is 6
degrees below the normal high of 61F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 41F degrees, which is 1 degree below the normal low
of 42F.
