ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA
SATURDAY, MARCH 1, 2025
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

WARM WITH LIGHT RAIN TO BEGIN METEOROLOGICAL SPRING….
Sunrise was beautiful this morning, with mid level clouds across
the western portion of the sky. These clouds quickly filled in and we have
remained overcast since, outside of a few breaks of sunshine late morning.
Very light rain early this morning and this afternoon has only amounted to a
trace.
With flow out of the south, temperatures remain above normal today.
The minimum occurred at midnight in the mid 30s, and we have since made
it into the low 50s. The dew point has risen from the low 30s to the low
40s, but has continued to lag behind the temperature by several degrees.
Winds have been steady, with an average speed of 19mph. The peak gust
took place around 4:20am, with a speed of 36mph.
Visibility has remained modest, holding at 30 miles due to virga.
The maximum temperature for today is 50F degrees, which is 10 degrees
above the normal high of 40F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 34F degrees, which is 11 degrees above the normal low of 23F.
