SNOW SQUALLS ARRIVE AROUND 2:15 P.M. YESTERDAY
DUMPING A QUICK 1.0 INCH OF SNOW, BRINGING WITH
IT MORE ARCTIC AIR

Yesterday afternoon and evening featured snow squalls
moving through the region adding 1.0 inch of new snow with
a liquid equivalent of 0.07 inches of water. Visibility during
the most intense part of the squall was down to 1/16 of a mile
or less for a short time.

With the intrusion of more Arctic air from the NW temperatures
slipped to 4.7F for a morning low before rebounding to a maximum
of 20.9F at the 1:00 PM observation.

With high pressure and cold temperatures, visibility has stayed
above 60 miles throughout the day with several hours of completely
clear skies until the 1:00 PM observation. Some cirrus/cirrostratus
are now slowly making their way from W-E.
