It was another cold morning on the summit with a low of 11.7F
before sunrise, though there was a strong inversion in place
indicated by the minimum of 1F at Norwood Airport early today.
The sky was nearly completely clear very early this morning,
then high thin cirrus clouds that advanced through the morning
began to be replaced by denser cirrostratus early this afternoon.
February 2014 finished colder than the 1981-2010 30-year average
temperature with a NWS mean of 26.5F and a 24-hour adjusted mean
of 26.4F. The preliminary monthly stats for February and Dec-Feb
