DRY, COOL CONDITIONS PREVAIL ONCE AGAIN AS CLOUDS SLOWLY
BUILD INTO THE REGION
Temperatures could only muster a maximum reading of 45F
yesterday, with a morning low of 28F. Overnight, temperatures
dipped to 35F, while nearby at Norwood Memorial Airport (KOWD)
temperatures dipped to 17F. Frost was reported on the ground
this morning, giving further evidence to an inversion near the
surface of the ground.
Skies have been mostly clear today, and by the 1:00 PM EST
observation only a thin sliver of cumulus distant to the SSE
through NW gave an indication of tonight’s increasing clouds.
Visibility was uniform in all directions at 65 miles with
light distant haze. A maximum temperature of 49F had been
recorded so far today.
