DISTANT FOG AND STRATOCUMULUS IN THE EAST MOVE IN AS LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM NEARS

Skies remained mostly clear today, but stratus and stratocumulus
lingered in the  east. Visibility reached up to 80 out of the west
in the morning, but distant fog brought it down to 70. Winds remained
low out of the northeast, with a peak gust of 18 mph by the 1:00PM EST
observation. Temperatures reached a high of 52F, with dew points in the
low 40s. With the low pressure system off shore approaching, pressure
has been falling quickly from 1017.3 mb at 7:00AM to 1012.0 mb at 1:00PM.
