ANOTHER HOT BUT LESS HUMID DAY

Above seasonable temperatures continue on top of Great Blue Hill.
Yesterday we had a high of 88F which is 9 degrees above the normal
temperature of 79F for August 22nd. Today we have had a high of 81F
by 1:00 PM EST, which is slightly above the normal 78F for August
23rd. The morning started off very humid with a humidity of 92% but
quickly dropped all the way down to 36% by 1:00 PM EST. Visibility
also increased from 30-70 miles as the humidity dropped throughout
the day. Westerly winds started to pick up around 8:30 AM EST with
a peak gust of 25 MPH since 7 AM EST today. An early morning
rainstorm started around 12:00 AM EST and left us 0.04 inches of
precipitation.
