ANOTHER COLD DAY WITH INCREASING CLOUDINESS…

Clear skies this morning have given way to increasing cloud
cover, accompanied by a shift in wind direction. It has been
another cool day, as we are yet to escape the 30s!

This morning was the coldest of the season so far, with a
low of 22F right around the time of the 7am observation! Since
then, the temperature has risen into the upper 30s. The dew point
has also been on the rise, going from the mid teens to the mid 20s.

Winds have been on the light side today, with an average so far
around only 8mph. The peak gust thus far is only 15mph, occurring
around 2:30am and again a bit after 11am.

Visibility has been on the decline today, beginning the morning
with a perfect view of 90 miles and dropping to 60 miles by the
early afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 39F, which is 9 degrees
below the normal high of 48F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 22F, which is 10 degrees below the normal low of 32F.
