OVERCAST SKIES WITH A FEW FLURRIES; TEMPERATURES REMAIN SEASONABLE….
As a disturbance associated with a warm front passed through
the area this morning, a band of mainly very light flurries
also passed through bringing a trace of snow to the Hill.
Otherwise, it’s been a cloudy day with seasonable temperatures
continuing and a spot of drizzle early this afternoon.
Temperatures started out this morning in the mid 20s, and have
gradually risen into the mid to upper 30s by early this afternoon.
Dew point values have generally been slowly rising from the mid
20s to the low 30s as the day has progressed.
Winds have been steady, but by no means strong. A general
south-southwest flow has been averaging at around 8mph for the
day so far. The peak gust so far has only been 18mph, which
occurred just after 10:30am this morning.
Visibility has been limited today by thin fog, snow, and haziness.
The view has been 35 miles or less through the day.
The maximum temperature so far today is 37F degrees, which is
equal to the normal high of 37F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 26F degrees, which is 6 degrees above the
normal low of 20F.
