MORE CLOUDS THAN SUN TODAY, STILL ON THE CHILLY SIDE….
Clouds have been dominating the sky today with some periods of
sun this morning. As we cruise through the early afternoon hours,
clouds have wholeheartedly taken over with no signs of the sun.
It’s still on the chilly side today with temperatures running
below normal once again. Thankfully, much like yesterday, the
wind is quite light.
Temperatures started the day in the low to mid 20s, and have only
“warmed” to the mid 30s by early this afternoon. Adding to the
chill of the air are the continued low dew points values, which
have been in the upper teens to near 20F all day.
Winds have been generally on the light side today. A southerly
flow has only been averaging at around 6mph for the day so far.
The peak gust for the day so far is 15mph, which occurred just
1am this morning.
The visibility today has been lower than it was yesterday. The
view started the day at around 40 miles, and have only improved
to around 50-60 miles by early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 37F degrees, which is
8 degrees below the normal high of 45F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 23F degrees, which is 5 degrees below the
normal low of 28F.
