COLD FRONT PASSES EARLY THIS MORNING BRINGING
VERY LIGHT PRECIPITATION, COOL AIR AND CLOUDS

A strong line of thunderstorms that formed in interior
New England late yesterday afternoon forged their
way south and east around midnight this morning, but
deteriorated before reaching the city. A total of 0.01
inches of new rain was collected prior to the 7:00 AM EST
observation.

Mostly overcast skies have prevailed with the mercury
hovering around or below 70 degrees since 7:00 AM. A few
showers of rain and drizzle were also present along
with a shifting NE wind. Rain totals by 1:00 PM EST were
only a trace.
