A VERY PLEASANT START TO THE WEEKEND WITH SEASONABLE CONDITIONS
TODAY….
Today has been a spectacular day featuring plenty of sunshine and
very comfortable air. After yesterday’s touch of summer, today
feels very refreshing and more typical of early fall. It’s been
a great day to be outdoors.
Temperatures are much more seasonable today with readings in the
low to mid 50s to start the day, and warming to the upper 60s by
early this afternoon. The dew point has been in the low 50s all
day, which feels very refreshing after being in the mid to upper
60s most of yesterday.
Winds have generally been on the lighter side today. They started
out of the north, and then shifted to onshore by mid morning. The
average speed for the day so far is around 9mph. The peak gust
for the day so far occurred just after 3am with a speed of 24mph.
Visibility has been very good today, gradually increasing from
around 50 miles early this morning to around 70 miles by early
this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 68F, which is 2 degrees
above the normal high of 66F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 53F, which is 4 degrees above the normal low of 49F.
