ANOTHER NICE DAY ATOP BLUE HILL WITH A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS….

A splendid mix of sun and clouds have been the theme today as a
dry air mass moves into the region. Temperatures have once again
made it into the upper 50s and low 60s across the region, making
for an overall pleasant day for the first of November.

A stiff breeze out of the west has been blowing however, averaging
around 15 mph. Frequent gusts exceeding 30mph have been recorded.

As mentioned, the air mass is drying out quite significantly since
this morning. The dew point was in the low-mid 40s at 7 A.M., but
has dropped into the low-mid 30s by the 1 P.M. observation!

Visibility has been excellent for the most part today, increasing
from around 65 miles early this morning to 80 miles early this
afternoon.

The high so far today is 59F, 4 degrees above the normal max of
55F. The low since midnight is 47F, 9 degrees above the normal low
of 38F.
