MORE CLOUDS THAN SUN TODAY, BUT CONSIDERABLY MILDER TEMPERATURES….
Clouds have been dominating the sky today, although they have
thinned out some early this afternoon. The filtered sunshine is
allowing for temperatures to respond nicely with readings getting
well above normal.
Temperatures have reached the mid 60s early this afternoon, which
is around 15F degrees above normal for the date. Dew points
are considerably higher than yesterday with values reaching the
low 40s today.
Winds have been gusty out of the south-southwest to southwest.
The average speed for the day so far is around 17mph. Gusts are
frequently reaching 30mph, with a peak so far of 33mph, which has
occurred on multiple instances.
The visibility has been somewhat limited today due to thin fog
early this morning, and then general haziness thereafter. The
view has improved from around 30 miles early this morning to
around 40 miles by early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 64F degrees, which is
15 degrees above the normal high of 49F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 37F degrees, which is 6 degrees above the
normal low of 31F.
