ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
HOT AND HUMID WITH NEAR RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE…
The heat dome that’s been building over the northeast
is peaking today and tomorrow. The temperature so far
today has reached 93 degrees here on the summit. The
record high for today is 95 degrees set in 1949 and 1963.
In addition to the high heat, humidity levels have
remained on the high side with dew points in the mid
60s. This is yielding heat indices in the upper 90s!
A steady westerly wind is once again blowing today,
helping to maximize the heat across eastern southern
New England.
The high so far today is 93 degrees. This is 12 degrees
above the daily normal high of 81F. The low since
midnight is 72F, which is 9 degrees above the daily
normal low of 63F
