MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2014
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

LIGHT SNOWFALL OVERNIGHT INCLUDING EVENING HOURS AND FIRST
HOUR OF TODAY LEAVES ONE INCH OF POWDERY ACCUMULATION

The one inch of snow which fell last night only produced 0.05 inch
of water, so it was of very light density.  It added to our total
on the ground raising it to 10 inches as measured this morning.

Temperatures continue below freezing for a sixth consecutive
day today and a fifth consecutive day below normal.  Despite
the continued cold conditions the month was still hanging on
to a plus one degree departure. That appears about to change soon.
