ALL DAY SUNSHINE AND SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL TEMPS TO START THE WEEKEND….
Today has featured clear skies with the exception of some distant
stratocumulus to our east. Chilly north flow was steady early
this morning, but since has slowed and it is starting to feel a bit
warmer. Overall, it’s been a fantastic day, high and dry conditions
and beautiful all around.
Temperatures started chilly at 40F early this morning. Temperatures
were slow to rise despite the all day sunshine, and as of 1pm this
afternoon we are still in the low 50s. Dew points have remained in
the low 30’s throughout the day, which is quite dry and gives a
slight bite to the air.
Winds have been mostly from the north today, with a slight shift
to the east northeast by the early afternoon. The average speed
for the day so far is around 11mph, but trending lower throughout
the day. The peak gust so far for the day is 29mph, which occurred
just before 2:30am this morning.
Visibility has been excellent for yet another day with a view
of 80 miles.
The maximum temperature so far today is 53F, which is 5 degrees
below the normal high of 58F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 40F, which is 1 degree below the normal low of 41F.
