RAIN, FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW FALL FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER
ARCTIC INTRUSION.
From 7:00 AM EST yesterday through 7:00 AM EST today temperatures
were suppressed between 20F and 10F, nearly match today’s daily
record low of 8F set back in 1926. A strong NW wind yesterday has
gradually dissipated from a Thursday’s peak gust of 43 MPH.
After a brilliantly clear start to the day altocumulus have slowly crept
in from the south and west to overtake most of the sky by this afternoon’s
1:00 PM observation. Temperatures have risen quickly from just 13F at
7:00 AM to 33F by 1:00 PM.
