SPECTACULAR SUMMER WEATHER CONTINUES…

Overall, today has been a closer mirror to yesterday.
Visibility slipped just a little to about 70 miles on
average. Dew points have ticked up a bit to the
mid- and upper-50s, but a far cry from feeling
tropical! Yesterday capped out at 80 degrees, while
today is set to outpace that high by several degrees-
clocking in at 87 degrees by our 1PM observation.

Winds have been a bit busier on average – so far
a mean of 14 MPH or so. Yesterday’s NW wind transitioned
around 7 PM to the SW, which explains the increase
in dew points and ambient air temperature today.

The high so far today is 87F, 8 degrees below the
daily normal maximum of 79F. The low since midnight
is 61F, which equals are the normal minimum of 61F.
