SEASONABLY MILD WITH FILTERED SUNSHINE ON TOP OF BLUE HILL TODAY….
The sky has featured a lot of mainly high thin cirrus clouds today,
but it’s been thin enough to allow for plenty of filtered sunshine.
With temperatures close to normal for this time of year along with
a light wind, it’s quite a nice spring day out there for any
outdoor activities.
Temperatures have reached the low 50s by early this afternoon after
starting the day in the upper 20s. Dew point values have been
holding in the 20s through the day.
Winds have been on the light side most of the day with the strongest
winds, at least so far, occurring during the wee hours of this
morning. A westerly wind early this morning has backed around to a
southerly direction by early this afternoon. The average speed for
the day so far is around 10mph. The peak gust, which occurred just
before 12:30am this morning, is 24mph.
The visibility has been decent today, improving from around 40-50
miles early this morning to around 60-70 miles by late this morning
and early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today is 51F degrees, which is
