EARLY MORNING SUNSHINE REPLACED BY A DECK OF LOW CLOUDS….

We started the day with mainly clear skies and a good deal of
sunshine, but by mid morning a deck of low clouds overspread
the area and have been overhead into early this afternoon.

Despite the cloud cover, temperatures have been able to warm up
nicely. Readings have reached the low 40s, and believe it or not,
this is finally above normal! Dew point values have been slowly
coming up as well, rising from the upper teens to the mid 20s over
the course of the day.

The wind has been on the busy side today. The average speed for
the day so far is around 19mph. Gusts have been frequently
exceeding 30mph. The peak gust for the day so far is 42mph,
which occurred just after 10:30am this morning.

Visibility has been somewhat limited today due to haziness. The
view has generally been holding around 30-40 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 41F degrees, which is
1 degree above the normal high of 40F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 25F degrees, which is equal to the normal low
of 25F.
