THICKENING CLOUDS WITH A GUSTY SOUTHERLY WIND….

A brief peek of sun was seen around sunrise this morning,
otherwise clouds have dominated the sky today. High clouds
this morning has been lowering and thickening as the day
progresses as our next weather system approaches the region.

Temperatures are near seasonable levels, but it feels colder
due to the cloud cover and southerly breeze. Readings have
reached the mid 50s by early this afternoon. The dew point
has been gradually rising as the air mass starts to moisten
up ahead of the oncoming rain. Values has risen from the mid
30s early this morning to the mid to upper 40s by early this
afternoon.

The wind has been gradually increasing as well out of the
south. The average speed for the day so far is around 11mph.
Gusts have been approaching 30mph at times, but so far the
peak gust for the day is 28mph, which occurred just after
9:30am this morning.

Visibility isn’t nearly as good as the perfect view yesterday.
Today the view has been limited to around 40 miles thanks to
general haziness.

The maximum temperature so far today is 54F degrees, which is
1 degree below the normal high of 55F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 43F degrees, which is 5 degrees above the
normal low of 38F.
