INCREASING AFTERNOON CLOUDS AND BRREZY SOUTHERLY WINDS….

Despite the increasing clouds we have received here on the
hill, we have had a decent amount of sunshine as well. We
started this morning already on the mild side, at 53F and
made it to 68F by the early afternoon. This is much warmer
than this time of year, which is normally around 60F.

As mentioned, temperatures have trended on the warmer side
today. It hasn’t felt as warm, probably due to the increase
in winds during the late morning hours. The air remains dry
and the southerly wind has been warm and refreshing today.

The wind started off light early this morning but picked up
during the late morning. Winds have been generally out of the
south for much of the day. The average speed for the day so
far of around 12mph. The peak gust so far for the day is 25mph,
which occurred at 12:21pm.

Visibility has remained in the 60 mile range for much of
the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 68F degrees, which is
8 degrees above the normal high of 60F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 50F degrees, which is 7 degrees above the
normal low of 43F.
