PLENTY OF SUNSHINE FADES TO INCREASING CLOUDS WITH A BRISK WIND
AND A FALL CHILL….

Skies started off the day mainly clear, but clouds have
increased from the northeast into early this afternoon as our
coastal storm from earlier in the week tries to back into the
region.

Temperatures are below normal with readings only reaching the
low to mid 50s early this afternoon. With a brisk wind, there
is a wind chill today which has been hovering in the mid to
upper 40s. Dew point values are lower today indicating a dry
polar air mass in place. Readings have been holding in the mid
30s throughout the day.

The wind has been busy today out of the northwest to north-
northwest. The average speed for the day so far is around 13mph.
Gusts have been frequently exceeding 25mph since about mid
morning. The peak gust so far for the day is 35mph, which
occurred just after 11am this morning.

Visibility has been excellent today with a view of around 80
miles!

The maximum temperature so far today is 53F degrees, which is
8 degrees below the normal high of 61F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 39F degrees, which is 5 degrees below the
normal low of 44F.
