ANOTHER PLEASANT DAY IN PROGRESS WITH SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES….

It has certainly been a very nice start to the month of September
with yet another mainly sunny day along with seasonable
temperatures and comfortably dry air. As was the case yesterday,
some diurnal cumulus clouds have popped up early this afternoon
indicating fair weather.

Temperatures are quite pleasant for this time of year with
readings reaching the mid to upper 70s by early this afternoon.
This is just about where we should be for early September. The
dew point continues to run in the comfortable range with values
generally in the low to mid 50s.

The wind has been on the light side yet again today, only averaging
around 7mph for the day so far. What wind there is has been rather
variable through the morning, but trying to settle more out of an
easterly direction early this afternoon. The peak gust for the day
so far is only 16mph, which occurred just after noontime.

Visibility is still decent today, generally holding at around
60-70 miles for the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 78F degrees, which is
1 degrees above the normal high of 77F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 57 degrees, which is 3 degrees below the normal
low of 60F.
