ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

PARTIAL SUNSHINE TODAY, BUT HOT AND HUMID….

Clouds have been dominating the sky today with some breaks
of sunshine getting through. There has been enough sun to
allow the temperature to warm quite a bit, although it
started with a relatively high base as readings never dropped
below the 70s overnight.

Temperatures have reached the upper 80s to near 90 by early
this afternoon. Dew point values have been holding in the low
70s, as such heat index values have still been able to push
into the mid 90s.

The wind has been rather light out of mainly a southwesterly
direction. The average speed for the day so far is only around
6mph. The peak gust so far for the day is 15mph, which occurred
just after 2:30am this morning.

Visibility has been limited today, first by thin fog early this
morning, then by haziness for the balance of the day. The view
has been around 35-40 miles all day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 89F degrees, which is
8 degrees above the normal high of 81F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 71F degrees, which is 8 degrees above the
normal low of 63F.
