MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH HUMIDITY DROPPING OFF MOVING INTO THE AFTERNOON….
We observed 40 miles of visibility on average with mostly cloudy
skies and light and variable wind. The wind has picked up slightly,
but only to about 8 mph on average. Conditions were humid this
morning with dew points in the low 70’s, but have dried out a
little bit with a dew point in the mid 60’s by 1 PM.
Rainfall since yesterday morning amounted to 0.64 inches, bringing
us to an inch for the monthly total and 36.81 inches for the year.
That works out to an 8.13 inch surplus as we make our way into
mid July!
The maximum temperature so far today is 86F, which is 4 degrees
above the normal high of 82F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 69F, which is 5 degrees above the normal low of 64F.
