ANOTHER DAY OF SHOWERS, LOW CLOUDS, AND FOG…

The tropical air mass remains in place, as we yet again began the
day with showers and fog, and low clouds still remain overhead.
From the showers this morning we received 0.10″ of rainfall.

Temperatures have been rather flat today, beginning the day at 72F and only
rising by 3F to 75F by the early afternoon. The air remains nearly saturated,
as the dew point is in the low 70s.

Winds have picked up through the afternoon, with frequent gusts
of 20-25mph. Our peak so far took place just after noon time, with a value
of approximately 31mph. The flow remains out of the southwest, with an average
speed of 15mph.

Visibility was poor again this morning, with a value of 1/16 of a mile
through at least 10am, due to dense fog. Views have improved up to
40 miles by the 1pm observation.

The maximum temperature so far today is 75F, which is 6 degrees
below the normal high of 81F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 72F, which is 9 degrees above the normal low of 63F.
