MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND SOME LIGHT RAIN MOVES INTO THE AREA
THIS AFTERNOON….

This morning started off with the sun shining and a rapid climb
in temperatures that was halted with increasing clouds and later
some light rain showers.

Temperatures remain above normal, and dew points have reached the
low 60’s which starts to feel a bit humid. The low temperature is
also above average which means the overnight wasn’t as cool and
allowed for the dew points to climb higher today.

The wind has been fairly light today, with the exception of late
morning before the rain arrived. The wind has been out of the WSW
and SSW for most of the day with an average of only about 9 mph.
The current gust so far occurred just after 11am at about 22 mph.

The high pollen counts as well as some light fog that moved into
the area before the rain impacted the visibility today. We have
only had 30-40 miles for most of the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 73F degrees, which is 6
degrees above the normal high of 67F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 57F degrees, which is 9 degrees above the normal low of
48F.
