ANOTHER OVERCAST AND COOL DAY WITH INTERMITTENT LIGHT DRIZZLE…
Today is another day in which no sunshine has been recorded,
at least so far. Overcast skies have dominated with intermittent
patches of light drizzle occurring since early this morning.
With the cloud cover and continued onshore flow, the temperature
has once again been held in the mid to upper 60s so far. As a
matter of fact, there has not been much range between the high
and low, with the difference so far only 4 degrees.
The wind has been light and gradually backing from the east-
southeast to north-northeast with an average speed for the day
of only around 6mph.
Visibility has of course been limited today with the drizzle and
thin fog this morning. It’s generally been variable with views
of 15 miles or less through the morning hours, but has improved
to around 30 miles early this afternoon.
The maximum temperature so far today has been 68F, which is
12 degrees below the normal high for today of 80F. The minimum
temperature since midnight is 64F, which is 1 degree above
the normal low of 63F.
