SUNNY, WARM, AND PLEASANT OVERALL ON BLUE HILL…

Today has been a picture perfect day on Great Blue Hill!
Above average temperatures, light wind and sunny conditions
were present. Increasing cloudiness as the day progressed,
however, conditions remained favorable for a nice hike or
bike ride through the trails.

The wind has remained light and variable for most of the day
with winds mostly out of the WNW direction. The highest gust
was recorded at 17 mph during the overnight hours. The average
wind so far has only been about 8 MPH.

Visibility has been steady at 40 miles today due to the hazy
conditions caused by the pine pollen in the air. The forecasted
rain should help clear that out tomorrow and over the weekend.

The high temperature so far today is 78F, this is 2 degrees above
the normal maximum of 76F. The low since midnight is 60F, this is
2 degrees above the normal minimum of 58F.
