SUN FINALLY PEAKING THROUGH AFTER DAYS OF CLOUD COVER…
The sun has finally shown itself after another drizzly
morning. For the 24 hr precipitation total ending at 7 A.M.
we measured 0.10 inches of liquid precipitation and an additional
0.01 inches by the 1 P.M. observation. The light drizzle ended
in the late morning and the sun was visible by the 1 P.M.
observation. Although the past couple of days have been damp,
we are still below normal for daily, monthly, and annual
precipitation totals. Visibly greatly increased from 20 miles
at 7 A.M. to 70 miles by 1 P.M. making for nice afternoon views.
Today was warmer, with lighter wind, than yesterday but with
low sunshine and wind from the northeast temperatures still
continue to be below seasonable. So far this month we are running
5 degrees below normal. The high temperature so far today is 52F
degrees, which is 12 degrees below the normal high of 64F.
The low since midnight is 41F, which is 4 degrees below the
normal low of 45F.
