CLOUDS AND DENSE FOG THIS MORNING GIVE WAY TO SOME PARTIAL
SUNSHINE…

Clouds and dense fog dominated the sky all morning with
visibility getting as low as 1/16th of a mile. It was also
rather chilly with temperatures in the upper 30s to start the
day. However, as we progress through the early afternoon hours,
the low clouds and fog have dissipated leaving us with at least
some partial sunshine under mid level cloudiness.

As such, the temperature has responded with readings reaching
the upper 50s by the 1pm observation, likely destined for the
60s later this afternoon. It also feels a bit humid as the
dew point has also risen into the low 50s.

The wind has been quite light today, even calm at times. The
average speed for the day thus far is only around 3mph! The
peak gust is only around 15mph.

The high temperature so far today is 58F which is 6 degrees
above the normal maximum temperature for today of 52F. The low
since midnight is 37F, which is 3 degrees above our normal
minimum temperature of 34F.
