WINDY AND MILD UNDER A MIX OF SUN AND CLOUDS…
After early morning clouds and fog burned off, skies featured a
mix of stratocumulus clouds and sunshine. Temperatures have been
mild with readings reaching the upper 50s. If not for the gusty
winds, it would be a perfect afternoon.
As mentioned, the wind has been quite busy today with an average
speed of around 13mph. Frequent gusts over 30mph have been
occurring today. The peak gust thus far has been 41mph.
Visibility has been excellent all day, rising from 60 miles
at the 7am observation to 80 miles early this afternoon.
The high temperature so far today was 57F, 10 degrees above the
normal maximum temperature for today of 47F. The low since
midnight so far is 35F, 5 degrees above our normal minimum
temperature of 30F.
