VERY CHILLY WITH A STRONG WESTERLY WIND AND PERFECT VISIBILITY….

We observed partly cloudy skies today and a maximum visibility
of 90 miles at the 1 P.M. observation.

The rain deficit on the month is 0.90 inches, and the annual
deficit is over 11 inches. Essex County is still in a severe
drought.

Wind is significant and westerly with an average speed of
around 20 mph. The highest gust so far today is more than
40 mph! The air is cool and dry with dew points in the low
teens.

The high so far today is only 37F, which is 12 degrees below the
normal maximum of 49F. The low since midnight is 27F, which is
5 degrees below the normal low of 32F.
