A GOOD AMOUNT OF RAIN WITH THE FRONTAL PASSAGE, TEMPERATURES
BEGINNING TO DROP IN THE AFTERNOON….

Today has been foggy with a maximum visibility of a half mile.
We measured 0.57 inches today at 7 A.M., and an additional 0.30
inches at the 1 P.M. observation. It has been breezy on the summit
today, with a constant wind speed of 15 mph and a max gust of 34 mph
encountered earlier this morning. Wind has shifted from east to west
throughout the day, and temperatures are on a downward trend since
noontime. This is the makings of a significant frontal passage!

Pressure plummeted by over 25 millibars overnight, and has not
stopped its downward trend as of yet.

A trace of snow fell last night, and will be the first snow of
the season! Snow deficit for the year is 1.3 inches.

The high so far today is 56F, which is 6 degrees above the
normal maximum of 50F. The low since midnight is 32F, which is
2 degrees below the normal low of 34F.
