HOTTER WITH CONDITIONS BECOMING A LITTLE FORGIVING
IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS….

We observed limited visibility on this hot summer’s day,
with only 35 miles being seen due to hazy conditions. Weather
conditions are hot yet enjoyable with dew points dropping
into the mid 60’s as temperatures climb into the mid 90’s.
We have less of a breeze in comparison to yesterday, being
southwesterly at under 10 mph.

Despite some rainfall the day before yesterday, the yearly
deficit is now almost eight and a quarter inches! We
are still on track to severe drought status. Drought monitor
is updated tomorrow.

Some distant rainfall was seen at the 1 P.M. observation
through haze to the east!

The high so far today is 95F, which is 13 degrees above the
normal maximum of 82F. The record for this calendar date is
99F, set in 1991. The low since midnight is 72F, which
is 8 degrees above the normal minimum of 64F.
