Visibility was limited due to haze this morning, but reached
60 miles by noontime. Skies were mostly cloudy with scattered cumulus
popping up around noontime. Wind was westerly with
10 mph speeds and a max gust of almost 25 mph.
Rainfall early on this morning amounted to 0.21 inches,
and that was the most rainfall the summit saw today.
Thunderstorms missed us to the northwest and south, but
left us with another 1 or 2 hundredths of an inch.
The high so far today is 80F, which is the same as the
normal maximum. The low since midnight is 68F, which
is 6 degrees above the normal minimum of 62F.
