JUST ANOTHER EARLY SUMMER’S DAY….
Today was on the hotter side and partly cloudy with an
average visibility of 60 miles. The dew point thankfully
stayed in the upper 50’s, keeping the weather a little
more bearable. Temperatures rose to the upper 80’s!
Wind was light and easterly off the ocean, with no gusts
worth mentioning.
Rainfall totals continue to disappoint, as we are -1.85
inches from normal on the month and -6.87 inches from
normal on the year. Our drought status is moderate, and
will be updated next Thursday.
The high so far today is 87F, which is 8 degrees above
the normal maximum of 79F. The low since midnight is 62F,
which is a degree above the normal minimum of 61F.
