MAXIMUM TEMP. YESTERDAY TIED RECORD OF 93F SET BACK IN 1983

Yesterday we were able to tie the daily record high of 93F with a recorded 93.2F
at 2:18 P.M. This morning low was 68F degrees and we miss tying the record min
max of 69 by 1 degree. Yesterday was the first day we hit 90F or above since
July 20th (93F max).It breaks a 52 day steak of being below 90F degrees.

TRIPLE “H” WEATHER….HOT, HAZY, and HUMID

Today the hot and humid weather continues. This morning 7am ob. was
a warm 69.3 degrees with a dew point of 69. The humid conditions gave
us fog on the summit obscuring any view. The fog was able to break into
this afternoon, to give us hazy sun. Later in the afternoon towering
cumulonimbus cloud tops were visible in the distance NW producing showers.
These showers should move in later today/tonight.
