SNOW, SNOW GRAINS AND SLEET ADD ANOTHER 11.1 INCHES
KEEPING SEASONAL TOTALS ON TRACK TO STAY ABOVE AVERAGE

Snow that began yesterday after 5:00 AM continued throughout
most of Wednesday, with several periods of heavy snow, poor
visibility and transitions and mixing between snow, snow grains
and ice pellets.

By 1:00 PM this afternoon, clouds were largely dissipating
with a temperature of 25 F and a visibility of approximately
50 miles.

Storm Totals for Jan. 5-6 at Great Blue Hill:
-11.1 inches of snow
-1.34 inches, liquid equivalent
-snowfall rates of > 1 inch per hour

Snow now totals 62.7 inches for the season, which surpasses
as seasonal average of 61 inches.
